Chatzivaritis, Β2, Assyrtiko, White 2018, 750ml

All the Assyrtiko of 2018 aged in 7 barrels. The B2 was the barrel by Pentalofos and was the best of the year.
This is the best barrel of Assyrtiko, a minimal intervention of the 2018 harvest. Its quality is so excellent that it was decided to bottle it separately for the big lovers of natural wines.
The grapes come from an altitude of 700m, were pressed on foot, extracted with the marcs for 2 days and then kneaded with spontaneous fermentation in old French barrels of 6 years.
The wine spent 5 months with its wine lees and 10 months in the bottle.
Intense (almost orange) color with golden highlights. On the nose it has a very rich and complex aromatic palette with the predominant aromas of lemon and citrus, honey, small white flowers, with a well-integrated sense of wood.
It has a full and concentrated mouth with impressive acidity and obvious tannicity that give a very long aftertaste.
Only 140 numbered bottles are in circulation. Those of you who are interested, hurry up !!
