Produced from Syrah grapes grown on the estate in acidic soils. After a long maceration, alcoholic and malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged for about 12 months in French oak barrels.
Dense, extremely deep red colour with purple tints.
Complex, beautifully evolved bouquet, a blend of plum, pepper and truffle.
Rich and full-bodied in the mouth, well-structured, with vigorous tannins and a long, lingering aftertaste.
Serve at 16-18°C.
Enjoy with game, well-seasoned red meats, ripe cheeses.
Responds well to further ageing.
