Alentejo, where the Quinta do Carmo winery is located, is one of the warmest wine regions in Portugal and Europe. The Alentejo region is ideal for making concentrated red wines, which Quinta do Carmo specializes in. This region is dominated by amazing local grape varieties such as Alicante Bouschet, Trincadeira and Aragonez (Tempranillo). Bacalhoa Quinta do Carmo Tinto 2017 is a blend of these and more specifically consists of Aragonêz, Trincadeira and Alicante Bouschet. Medium ruby color with cherry highlights on the face, with aromatic nose characteristics reminiscent of strawberry jam, cherries and raspberries making their appearance. Notes of milk caramel, chocolate, coffee and licorice complete the special ensemble. In the mouth it is full, fruity with soft tannins and balanced acidity! Enjoy Bacalhoa Quinta do Carmo Tinto 2017 in a glass of red Bordeaux, around 16 degrees Celsius.
