1. How can I order?

Insert the products you want to your cart and proceed to checkout as a registered user or as a guest. After completing your order, you will receive a confirmation e-mail that confirms that your order has been successfully registered in the mycava.gr systems.

It is important to mention a valid telephone number and a valid e-mail. 
Also, you can order via e-mail at [email protected], telephone at 2310 442 103 and 2310 414 921 or mail to the address: Depot des VIns | Cava Dimitriadis, Bouboulinas & Makrigianni, 55134, Foinikas, Thessaloniki.

 

2. What are the payment methods?

The payment methods vary according to the delivery address.

For delivery in Greece, the payment methods are the following:

A. Debit (debit), credit (credit) or prepaid (prepaid) card (Visa / Mastercard). In (secure) order form fill in all required fields (card number, expiration date and issuing bank). The charge on your credit card will be the day the product shipping process.

Your transactions in our store are protected by maximum online security systems (SSL-128 bit and digital certification from Verisign, Inc.) which guarantee a secure environment in most of the 500 largest companies in the world.

B. Bank deposit of the exact amount to one of the following accounts indicating the Billing Name and / or the No. of the Order:

In case of remittance from a different bank, remittance costs are charged to the customer.

The order will begin running immediately after confirming the deposit. 
We should receive the deposit receipt (from the bank or from the web-banking) in reply to the order confirmation email.
If we do not receive it, the process of the deposit confirmation may take from 1 to 5 business days depending on the policy of the bank remittance.

If not confirmed within 5 business days, the order would be cancelled.

C. Cash on delivery to the courier company upon receipt of order (for Greece only). In this case, there is a fee charge of 2,5 euro (including VAT).

D. Payment at our store: Depot des VIns | Cava Dimitriadis, Bouboulinas & Makrigianni, 55134, Foinikas, Thessaloniki.  In this case there are no shipping fees.

For orders that "Payment at our store" is chosen, they are considered active for the next 5 business days from the date they are confirmed. At the end of the 5 business days, the reservation of the products of these orders is canceled.

 The store does not accept Paypal and American Express.

3. What are the shipping/delivery ways & times ?

Orders can be delivered allover Greece at the address you indicate.

You can also pick products for free transport from the store Depot des VIns | Cava Dimitriadis, Bouboulinas & Makrigianni, 55134, Foinikas, Thessaloniki, Monday to Friday 10:00-18:00 and Saturday 10:00-15:00.

For orders that "Payment at the store" is chosen, they are considered active for the next 5 business days from the date they are confirmed. At the end of the week the reservation of the products involved in these orders is canceled.

The orders delivery times vary depending on the destination.

-For Athens, Thessaloniki * and mainland Greece deliver in 1-3 business days.

-For Insular Greece and inaccessible areas we deliver within 5 business days.

* For Thessaloniki possible same day delivery for products readily available for orders will be held until 3:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. with shipping cost 6.00 EUR (VAT included), which can only be arranged by phone.

Orders can be delivered to Europe, at the address you indicate to specific countries.

The countries we serve are:

Zone 1: Austria, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Croatia, Liechtenstein, the Netherlands, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic
Zone 2: France, United Kingdom *, Italy **, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Monaco, Romania, Slovenia
Zone 3: Estonia, Spain ***, Malta, Portugal
* Channel Islands are not served, ** Vatican, San Marino not served, *** Andorra, Gibraltar are not served.

We work with various courier companies and both economic and express transport ways.

If the products are ready for delivery, once they are shipped they have an estimated delivery time listed below:

- ACS Economy:

Indicative delivery times of 15-25 business days

- Standard UPS:
Indicative delivery times of 3-6 business days

- UPS Saver (Express Air):
Indicative delivery times 1-2 business days

4. What are the shipping costs?

The shipping cost is determined by weight, ie the quantity and the type of products, and the delivery address.

Before completing your order, the system informs you on the cost of each option.

For large orders (above 6 bottles) or large collector's bottles, it is better to precede telephone consultation to suggest the safest and most advantageous solution for you.

The shipping cost will be free in the following cases:

-When it is indicated such in product description (it is only valid for shipping in Greece).
-For Arrivals from MYCAVA | Depot des VIns, Bouboulinas & Makrigianni, 55134, Foinikas, Thessaloniki from Monday to Friday 10:00-18:00 and Saturday 10:00-15:00.

 

5. What happens if I am absent while attempting delivery of the order?

In case of your absence during the first attempt of service, the employee of the courier company leaves a written notice of the date and time of the second delivery attempt. If the date and time of the second delivery attempt is not convenient, you can configure the phone with the courier company. The second attempt of service is at no cost to the customer. If you are absent during the second attempt of service, you can arrange by telephone the courier company for the third delivery attempt which shall be payable by the customer.

 

6.  What happens if the delivery delays?

If your order is delayed beyond the planned delivery times, please contact us and we will do our best for your convenience.

Our company is not responsible for any delays in deliveries of the ordered products that are not due to their fault or constitute of force majeure events such as extreme weather, strikes, etc.

If you wish to be informed about the progress of your order, you can send your request at [email protected] indicating your order number, name and a contact number (preferably mobile).

 

7. What happens if the parcel is lost ?

If a parcel is lost, mycava.gr will resend the order without any charge.

 

8. What is the receiving process of the order ?

All orders are accompanied by an invoice/receipt showing the products and charges, or in the case of gift a delivery note which does not present prices, but displays details about the types and quantities ordered. Please do a quick check at the delivery that the types and quantities are ok. Any observations should be noted on the delivery note from the employee of the courier company. Then you will be prompted by the courier company to sign the delivery note.

 

9. Do I have a right of withdrawal ?

Of course you do have a right of withdrawal. If you wish to cancel or change an order that is:

- not yet sent, notify us immediately by telephone to the correct it or cancel it .

- sent but not delivered, notify us immediately by telephone to the correct it or cancel it .

- sent and delivered, you should contact us by telephone within 5 days to arrange the return of the product with your expense. In this case we can either change the products you ordered or refund their value.

 

10. What happens if  the company makes a mistake in the order (ex. something missing from the order, sending wrong bottle, etc.) ?

Each order is accompanied by an invoice/receipt showing the products and charges, or in the case of gift a delivery note which does not present prices, but displays details about the types and quantities ordered. Please do a quick check at the delivery that the types and quantities are ok. If there is a problem, it should be noted on the delivery note of the carrier and they will report to resolve the problem without charge. But if you wish, you can contact us within three days and will do our best for your convenience. 

 

 

11. Can I receive a refund ?

Refund is made in case of withdrawal.
If you paid by credit card, any refund will be made by credit card. If you paid by debit, bank deposit or cash on delivery, the refund will be credited to a bank account you indicate.
