Bruno Paillard was born in Reims in 1953. His lineage of brokers and growers in the two Grands Crus villages of Bouzy and Verzenay dates back to 1704. Following in the family footsteps, he began working as a broker in 1975, acquiring a deep and extensive knowledge around from Champagne wines. Now the wines of Bruno Paillard are served in the best restaurants of the world, since they represent a style that marries elegance and complexity that manifests itself with light, gentle foam, clear character, freshness and silky texture. Bruno Paillard Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru comes from grand cru vineyards of the “Côte des Blancs” valley and remains for 4 years on the lees, while aging for 10 years after disgorgement. Classy aromas of citrus fruits such as lime, grapefruit followed by white flowers, with a touch of almond and toasted bread. After a lively attack on the first sip, this wine reveals complex notes containing citrus, nuts, as well as a subtle mineral character that ends with a fresh and lingering finish.
